 Unit 1 and Unit 24 joined together for a flag retirement ceremony on October 15 2016.  With Special thanks to the Glendale fire department station house157

Arizona Unit 1 and Unit 24 Joint
Flag Burning Ceremony and Firefighter’s Appreciation Dinner
 
On Saturday October 15, 2016 Arizona Unit 1 and Unit 24 held a joint flag burning ceremony at the Fire station 157 in Glendale Arizona.  This was the last day of fire fighter appreciation week. We also had a potluck dinner for all that attended.  Cortez High School NJROTC, Chapter 1, Chapter 24 and all the fire fighters on duty. Unit 1 received permission to hold the event and coordinated with the Glendale Fire Department and the ROTC. Unit 1 provided the Entre and Unit 24 furnished all the side dishes. We left enough food for the firefighters to eat for several days.
We Want to Thank the Glendale Fire Station 157 and the Cortez NJROTC for their help in making this a memorable experience
